NEW LITTER AROUND APRIL 10
My name is Cathy and my husband and I live in Winchester, Kentucky just east of Lexington. I began breeding Schnauzers some nine years ago and have been breeding Schnoodles for the past three years. My interest began after acquiring, Bogey, a black parti "toy" sized Schnauzer from Windy Hill Kennel. Since I was still working full time, I started to search for a companion for Bogey...... so Ebbie, a faded black mini came in to our home. In the next couple of years I acquired a beautiful mini girl named Lacey, with Sassy, a liver/tan "toy" following.
My interest in breeding Schnoodles sparked when my next door neighbor acquired a very Black and curly-coated Schnoodle named Maddie. At the same time, she purchased Riley, a dark Chocolate Toy Schnauzer, from my Sassy's litter. The female Schnoodle and the male Schnauzer took an extreme liking to each other and this produced litters of beautiful F1B Schnoodles in solid Blacks, Black Silvers and Black Partis. After much research and stalking the websites of well known Schnoodle breeders, I embarked on my search for a perfectly coated Schnauzer with a great temperament. This began a breeding program that has changed slightly over the years as I now have two supercoated Merles. Rumor, a Blue Merle, mega-coated Mini and her daughter, Livia, a Liver Merle. Both have produced Merles, Partis and Solid Blacks as well as Black Silver puppies.
My goal is to produce Schnoodles that make great family pets with beautiful coats. I have been very blessed with my dogs as they pass beautiful coats to their offspring. Each litter has produced at least one Toy (not to be confused with a runt) as Snoopy has some very small Poodles in his Pedigree. Puppy sizes have ranged from 6 to 15 pounds, with Tucker being our only surprise. He is a Livia pup from 2014 and now weighs 25 pounds. He is a massive ball of white fluff with Apricot spots throughout his coat. Tucker, as well as other Schnoodles born here, may be viewed on the Slide Presentation on the PAST SCHNOODLES page.
Our dogs are truly pets as they have free run of the first floor of our home, as well as having their own space in our walk-out basement, where my grooming area is located. Our new babies spend some of their time there also. We handle and socialize our puppies from day one and they are very use to the sounds of the house as well as visiting grandchildren. We hope that you enjoy viewing our "pack" and check back for new litters from time to time.
When our puppies go to their new homes they will have had their tails docked, dew claws removed and all appropriate vaccinations. If you have questions, or just want to talk Schnauzer or Schnoodle, please give me a call.
